Tips On Princess Etiquette and Good Manners
For the next ten weeks every Thursday I am going to post one tip from the Disney Princess Primer. There isn’t a better place to learn tips on princess etiquette and good manners. The first tip has to do with talking and listening.
There she is, your little princess, decked out in her finest for a birthday party, a family gathering , or a royal tea play date at a friend’s house. She’s all sparkles and tinkling laughter until lunch is served. Is that … salad? “I’m not eating THAT!!!!” shrieks your little one, morphing from graceful belle of the ball to a snarling villain before your eyes.
Every would-be princess stumbles now and then, but good manners are as crucial to any wee royal as a tiara and ruffled dress. Here are a few tips for teaching etiquette at any age, with help from the Disney Princess’ examples. (By the way, these rules apply to young princes, too!)

Tip Number 1: Chatterboxes, Beware!
A princess gives other people a chance to talk, and doesn’t interrupt. Cinderella surrounded herself with woodland creatures who had plenty to say, but she never treated them like her side of the conversation was more important than theirs. A true princess listens attentively to her friends and acquaintances. (By the way, Queen Mom, the best way to teach this is to practice it yourself: Make sure your youngling sees you paying attention when others speak.)
Go here for your plates, napkins, stickers or any other item you need to complete your Cinderella party. They’re all on this page, Cinderella Dreamland Birthday Party Supplies so, take a look.
