Make A Mickey Mouse Epic Play Set

Help your child make a Mickey Mouse Epic Play Set when they are gloomy and can’t find anything to do. You know what those days are like. Hundreds of toys and nothing to do because it is raining outside.

The Mickey Mouse Epic Play Set is inspired by a video game. The main feature of the game is a magic paint brush which has the ability to draw and erase items, by using paint and thinner. Mickey accidentally erases part of the world for forgotten characters. He has to make things right before the bad guys take over.

Instructions:

1. Print the template on regular paper or card stock and cut out all of the pieces. Don’t cut along the dash lines — this is where you will fold the paper.

2. Make the indicated folds away from you, then glue or tape the smaller rectangles to the back of the large, middle rectangle. Fold the character toward you and stand him or her up.

3. Fold the first background stand in half and spread glue on the backside of the paper, leaving the white tabs on the sides glue-free. Make sure the two sides are lined up correctly and press until the glue dries.

Fold the white tabs outward and glue the stand to the back of the background toward the left side. Repeat this with the second stand and glue it to the background toward the right side. The background should stand up like a picture frame when finished.
