Basic Steps For Rolled Fondant and Covering A Cake

1. Apply a light layer of butter cream frosting to the cake.
2. Knead fondant to correct consistency.
3. Correct consistency of fondant if it is too dry or too sticky.
4. Roll out fondant without cracks and it sticking to the surface.
5. Remove any air bubbles.
6. Lift fondant and drape it over the cake.
7. Shape the fondant to the cake using a smoother and remove any air bubbles.
