Childrens Birthday Parties

There are some parents that feel childrens birthday parties have gotten out of control and maybe for some parents they have. I don’t think you should have a party that you aren’t comfortable with or spend more money than you want. Many childrens birthday parties are very expensive and extravagant. But, maybe the parents are among the Rich and Famous. They have the means to spend much more on a party than most of us.

There are parents forming groups that advocate no gift birthday parties and giving the gift to charity instead of the birthday child. I believe that…

Birthday parties are important no matter the age of the birthday girl or boy. What better way to show a person how much we care and love them for who they are, then to celebrate the day they were born. Birthdays represent a passing of one stage or period of our life and going on to the next stage.

I think our birthday is a special event and we should give and receive a birthday gift. The gift doesn’t have to be expensive. I agree that going over board with limousine rides and thinking that you need to do more and spend more than the last party your child went to, does seem to be out of control. When you don’t have the money and will go broke doing the party, isn’t a good idea.

If you can afford a birthday party with limousine rides and that is your style and that is how you want your party, you should do it. Spending more money than you can afford just to try to out do the last party your child went to isn’t a good plan.

I really don’t like or think the idea of giving the birthday gift of a child to charity is a good solution. I believe a child can and should receive a gift on their birthday and also learn about giving and helping others.

Going rock climbing, a visit to an amusement park or going to the zoo would be good alternatives. Having your child’s birthday party at the National Zoo and support the Zoo’s conservation and education efforts might be a good charity solution. At least the children would learn and understand where their money is going and why.

Planning and creating a wonderful childrens birthday party doesn’t have to be about how much or how little we spend on the party supplies and gifts. You can purchase a theme birthday party pack for a party of eight for under $25.00 or create a lot of the party items yourself. Or just buy theme dinner/dessert plates, cups and a few balloons and that wouldn’t cost much at all.

I do have party supplies and suggestions for your childrens birthday parties here among the pages. You can spend as much or as little as you want. Each item can be purchased separately. My desire is for you to create wonderful memories for your child and your family.

This is an awesome blog. Sure is true birthday parties sometimes get out of hand with how much they can cost. I do agree that kids should have a party and a few gifts. It’s good to know that you don’t have to buy the whole party pack. I’ll let my wife know about your site. Cheers & Wish your site all the success.
